  1. ARVI PARK.

This park is specialized in the protection of the environment of the rural zone of Piedras Blancas, Piedras Gordas y Mazo in the country zone of Santa Elena.
In this place, nature and wildlife are all around, is a cultural park to go and have a moment of meditation surrounded by trees and little animals like birds, chipmunks, butterflies and watch a beautiful landscape while you are there.
The Arvi park has been characterized because the rich people of Medellin many years ago used to go and pass a day of sun there.
The paramilitary army of Colombia used to act in this park and this place were so scary in those times, when all the country people know about the bad acts of the paramilitars they were murdered. Those weren´t good times for the arvi park but when this inner war ended, a union between some corporations took the Arvi park and made of this a place to have rest and know more about the ancient cultures who dwelled there some centuries ago.
The Arvi park right now is under construction because the administration wants to enlarge the place to make people go to visit and know more about our ancient culture.
Nowadays, the Arvi park is visited for a lot of strangers who visit Medelin, they always feel wondered about our culture because it was an aborigine culture.
